About the position
The High School Spanish Teacher at Insight School of Oklahoma (ISOK) is a state-certified educator responsible for delivering engaging online course content to students in grades 9-12. This role focuses on building relationships with students, families, and learning coaches to ensure student success and progress through the program. The teacher will provide instruction, support, and guidance while managing the learning process in a virtual environment. The position requires a commitment to personalizing learning and maintaining a professional home office environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide rich and engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students.
- Differentiate instruction based on student level of mastery.
- Maintain a grade book ensuring student academic integrity and make placement decisions.
- Prepare students for high stakes standardized tests.
- Establish and maintain positive rapport with families and communicate regularly with students and learning coaches.
- Support learning coaches/parents with curricular and instructional issues in a virtual classroom environment.
- Travel as required for professional development and student testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Active state teaching license
- Ability to clear required background check
- Spanish endorsement
