About the position

Kscholastic Inc is seeking part-time Spanish tutors to provide in-person tutoring for high school students in Houston, TX. The ideal candidates will have experience in teaching or tutoring Spanish, particularly at levels from Spanish 2 to AP Spanish. The role focuses on helping students understand Spanish grammar and improve their academic performance, with a commitment required through May 31st, 2025.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person tutoring for high school students in Spanish.
• Help students understand key concepts such as the difference between the Preterite and Imperfect tenses.
• Teach skills to improve academic performance in Spanish.
• Drive to and from students' homes for tutoring sessions.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a high school Spanish teacher or tutoring Spanish 2 - AP Spanish.
• Thorough knowledge and experience with Spanish grammar.
• A Spanish major or minor is required.
• Must have a properly working vehicle.
