The High School Vice Principal / Athletic Director at Weston Ranch High School plays a crucial role in the administration and leadership of the school, ensuring that the educational environment is conducive to student learning and development. In addition to administrative duties, the Vice Principal / Athletic Director will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with students, parents, and the community. This includes engaging with families to support student success and addressing any concerns that may arise. The role also involves collaborating with teachers and staff to create a positive school culture that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and collaborative communication among students. The Vice Principal will oversee the athletic programs, ensuring compliance with district and state regulations, and promoting student participation in sports. This includes scheduling games, managing budgets, and coordinating with coaches to ensure that all athletic activities are conducted safely and effectively. The Vice Principal will also be involved in the recruitment and evaluation of coaching staff, as well as the development of student-athletes both on and off the field. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Valid Administrative Services Credential with Subject Description, Expiration Date, and EL Authorization.
  • Three recent letters of recommendation, including one from a current administrator.
  • Letter of interest and resume.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
