About the position

The position involves end-to-end hardware development, focusing on various stages from requirement analysis to compliance certification. The role requires expertise in working with different processors and interfaces, as well as hands-on experience with high-speed testing equipment. The candidate will be responsible for product validation, testing, and ensuring regulatory compliance, while also coordinating with client teams for project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct requirement analysis and architecture design for hardware development.
  • Implement and test hardware components, ensuring compliance certification to General Availability (GA).
  • Characterize high-speed interfaces and perform electrical compliance testing.
  • Validate and test products end-to-end, ensuring functionality and performance.
  • Utilize high-speed testing equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers for testing.
  • Perform power, thermal, and system integration testing on hardware.
  • Coordinate with client teams to ensure project delivery and communication.
  • Prepare test plans, execute test cases, and document results in hardware labs.

Requirements

  • Experience in end-to-end hardware development life cycle.
  • Proficiency with Power PC/ARM/NXP/Intel processors and various interfaces (USB, LVDS, UART, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with high-speed testing equipment and tools.
  • Knowledge of signal integrity and power integrity analysis.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance certification testing.
  • Experience with schematic and layout design tools like Orcad and Allegro.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with scripting tools for automation.
  • Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Experience in client team coordination.
