About the position

Argos USA Concrete Ready Mix is seeking CDL A or CDL B Local Ready Mix Concrete Truck Drivers in High Springs, FL. The role involves delivering concrete loads to various customers in the area, contributing to both residential and commercial projects. The position emphasizes daily home time, ensuring drivers can spend time with their families while working locally.

Responsibilities

• Deliver loads of ready mix concrete to customers in the greater High Springs, FL area.
• Ensure timely and safe delivery of concrete for various construction projects.
• Complete required paperwork associated with deliveries.
• Maintain the assigned truck and ensure it is in good working condition.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid CDL A or CDL B license required.
• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience.
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is required.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no DUIs in the last 3 years.
• No suspensions in the last 30 days.
• No substance abuse violations in the last 3 years.
• Must be able to lift items weighing between 25 and 45 pounds frequently.
• Ability to work irregular hours based on customer demands.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience driving Mack Trucks or Peterbilt.
• Familiarity with DOT guidelines and regulations.
