About the position
MATSIM Corporation is seeking a High-Value Freight Security Escort to join our team in Laredo, TX. This position involves providing high-value security escort services for individual semi tractor-trailers and convoys, ensuring the safe transport of valuable freight. The role requires coordination of split pick-up and same destination security escorts originating from different distribution centers, as well as real-time tracking and monitoring services for high-value freight while in transit. The escort services will be provided 24/7, and the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining electronic logs, time-stamped photos, and supporting documentation for all security escort services from the point of origin to the final destination. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in logistics, convoy security, military operations, or diplomacy. It is crucial to develop and maintain professional relationships with everyone involved in the supply chain to ensure smooth operations. This position is a contract and temporary role, offering a pay rate starting at $400 per day, which can increase to $450 after performance metrics are met. The client will cover vehicle expenses and return airfare for travel, which is expected to be 1-2 days for each run, with 1-3 runs per week. The schedule is flexible, allowing candidates to choose their own hours, primarily during overnight shifts.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Valid/Active State Drivers License
- Clean Driver Record
- Background in Transportation, Military, Law Enforcement, Logistics, Security, or Diplomacy
- High School Graduation or G.E.D Equivalent
- At least 25 years of age
- No Felony Convictions
- No Violent Crime or Drug Offenders (Felony or Misdemeanors)
- Available to travel at least 2-3 days per week and open to serving as part of a 2-person driving team.
- TEXAS State Guard Card or ability to obtain/maintain one.
