About the position

The Higher Education Account Executive at Apple is responsible for driving sales and maintaining customer relationships within the education sector. This role involves understanding the needs of educational institutions, crafting sales opportunities, and executing strategies to enhance Apple's presence in the market. The position requires collaboration with internal and external partners to develop solutions that meet customer needs while achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Grow sales and maintain the renewal base in the assigned territory.
  • Uncover new business opportunities in a targeted customer base.
  • Support and manage relationships with existing customers.
  • Understand the organizational structure and decision-making processes in the education sector.
  • Craft sales opportunities and projects to increase sales in Apple's Education accounts.
  • Effectively present Apple's education leadership messages to stakeholders.
  • Apply Apple's complex sales methodology to identify opportunities across accounts.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with RTM partners to enhance sales coverage.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of 8+ years of related experience.
  • Quantifiable record of success in education or technology sales.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Experience with a solution-based approach to solving customer requirements.
  • Understanding of complex sales cycles.

Nice-to-haves

  • Background working with channel partners and/or supporting multiple routes to market.
  • Deep expertise in Higher Education and/or SLED.
  • Ability to build rapport with new customers across all levels of an Education organization.
  • Ability to articulate Apple Education Products strategy and value proposition.
  • Relevant sales experience with technology-based products.
