About the position

Lovin Equipment and Sales, Inc. is seeking to hire 60 Highway Maintenance Workers for a temporary, full-time seasonal role. The position will last from January 1, 2025, to October 30, 2025, and involves maintaining grounds along roadways and interstates, including tasks such as cutting grass, clearing weeds, and removing litter. Workers will be required to operate various power equipment and perform physically demanding labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds of commercial and public property along roadways and interstates.
• Cut grass, clear weeds, prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges.
• Gather, clean, clear, and remove litter and debris.
• Dispose of trash or waste materials.
• Use power equipment such as riding lawn mowers, tractors with bush hogs, hedge trimmers, clippers, edging tools, and weed-eaters.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old due to state labor laws.
• Must show proof of legal authority to work in the U.S.
• Must be drug/alcohol/tobacco free in the work zone.
• Must have 3 months of tractor experience.
• Must be able to lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle, position, move, manipulate materials, and exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 50 lbs.
