About the position

The HIL Application Engineer at MatchPoint is responsible for maintaining and coordinating the functional operation of electrical integration benches that simulate vehicle systems. This role involves troubleshooting hardware issues, integrating ECU modules, and ensuring effective communication protocols for Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage the functional operation of electrical integration benches that represent a vehicle or vehicle subsystem.
• Integrate Plant Models, real loads, and sensors with the I/O of Vehicle ECUs according to software maturity.
• Verify communication protocol standards for HIL platforms, including CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, and Ethernet.
• Troubleshoot the HIL platform, conduct root cause analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for resolution.

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Control Systems.
• Experience using Hardware-In-the-Loop systems for developing real-time controls and MATLAB/Simulink modeling.
• Experience in Electrical Test and Development, and Vehicle Electrical Architecture.
• Experience in real-time controls plant modeling and simulation for vehicle domains and subsystems.
