About the position

The HIL NI TestStand/NI LabView Engineer position at KPIT involves working on cutting-edge technology programs within the automotive and mobility sectors. The role requires gathering requirements to test embedded software, performing requirement analysis to develop test cases for embedded systems, and conducting both automated and manual testing. The engineer will be responsible for developing test scripts in NI TestStand and NI LabView for automated testing, carrying out regression testing, and maintaining test results according to established processes. Debugging software to isolate the root cause of detected issues is also a critical part of the job, along with creating technical documentation for the development and maintenance of test procedures, test scripts, and processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of test management processes, including traceability, configuration management, and defect management. Familiarity with embedded systems, particularly in the automotive domain, is essential. The role requires knowledge of automotive communication protocols over CAN, such as J1939, XCP, and UDS, as well as experience with debugging tools, digital multimeters (DMM), function generators, and oscilloscopes. The position is designed for individuals who are eager to upskill in a dynamic environment that promotes constant learning and professional growth.
