The Outside Sales Representative (Rental Power) is responsible for the retention of the existing customer base while driving continued sales growth. This role involves developing the assigned territory and implementing sales plans to expand the business, as well as maintaining relationships with current customers. The representative will source and grow sales through new business opportunities within the designated market area or territory. Collaboration with the Sales Manager and Branch Manager is essential to fulfill the business plan effectively. Candidates with power rental experience are highly preferred. In this position, the incumbent is expected to model key practices daily, including demonstrating alignment with the company's mission and core business values, collaborating with key internal and external resources, and participating in ongoing self-development. The essential functions of the role include the sales and marketing of rental and purchase equipment, providing service and support to the existing customer base, sourcing new business opportunities, and preparing and presenting sales contracts and lease agreements. The representative will also be responsible for preparing sales plans, reports, and daily call reports, developing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, formulating bids on jobs and projects, identifying new service contract opportunities, and generating a referral network to increase the client base. Additionally, the role may involve familiarizing customers with equipment and vehicles, implementing quality improvement processes, maintaining records of sales transactions, and performing other duties as assigned.
