Responsibilities

  • Participate in on-the-job training experiences for the Sales Manager role.
  • Maintain and improve occupancy levels in accordance with marketing and business plans.
  • Utilize established sales processes and systems to track information and achieve occupancy goals.
  • Assist prospective residents and their families in the decision-making process regarding community services and programs.
  • Respond promptly to all inquiries via telephone, email, and in-person.
  • Complete weekly follow-up calls, letters, and tours as defined by the community marketing plan.
  • Coordinate and complete all activities needed for a sale, including conducting assessments and ensuring required forms are completed.
  • Keep management informed about the status of prospective move-ins.
  • Track and record pre-residency steps to facilitate communication.
  • Coordinate with the business development coordinator/director on business development efforts.
  • Contact local sources to generate leads and manage business development activities in their absence.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and professional referral sources.
  • Provide information and conduct presentations about community services and programs to meet the needs of referral sources and community groups.
  • Manage community inventory and seek opportunities for increasing revenue.
  • Represent the community at outside events and professional groups.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated proficiency in sales and marketing responsibilities.
  • Ability to understand and meet the needs of prospective residents and their families.
  • Strong communication skills for responding to inquiries and conducting presentations.
  • Experience in tracking and managing sales processes and occupancy goals.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in senior living or healthcare sales.
  • Familiarity with community resources and referral sources in the senior living sector.
