About the position

The Hire Entry Account Manager is an entry-level position focused on connecting job seekers with employers through a dynamic employment platform. The role is designed for proactive individuals who are eager to drive sales growth by generating leads and selling job board services to businesses. The Account Manager will work closely with clients to understand their hiring needs and provide tailored solutions to streamline their recruitment processes.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to consistently meet or exceed monthly revenue goals.
  • Prospect and generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media prospecting, tradeshow events, and referrals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the CRM and other reporting sources, documenting sales activity and detailed client interactions.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify key decision makers.
  • Follow a defined sales process while remaining adaptable to the needs of the company and clients.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with prospective clients, serving as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as Customer Success and Marketing, to ensure a superior client experience.
  • Conduct compelling product demonstrations through web conferencing/in-person and articulate how the Job Board can solve clients' hiring challenges.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Provide exceptional service to clients throughout the sales cycle and beyond.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of sales experience required, preferably in the job board or recruitment industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent presentation, written, verbal, and phone skills
  • Ability to deliver compelling sales presentations
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in using Excel, PowerPoint, CRM software and other sales tools
  • Excellent customer service skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Talent Acquisition/Recruitment experience a plus
  • Experience collaborating with sales teams regarding new strategy development
