About the position

We are seeking friendly and efficient Cashiers to join our team at Taco Bell in Lacey Corporate Center. The ideal candidates will have a passion for customer service and a background in the food industry or retail. As Cashiers, they will be responsible for providing excellent service to customers while accurately processing transactions, contributing to a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed.
• Accurately process customer transactions using the Aloha POS system.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining accuracy in sales.
• Assist with food preparation and culinary tasks as required.
• Support bussing duties to maintain cleanliness and organization in the checkout area.
• Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products and services.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the grocery store environment.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and sales reporting.

Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the food industry or grocery store setting.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of retail math concepts.
• Willingness to help others and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
