About the position

Hepaco, a Clean Harbors company, in Lehigh Valley, PA is looking for a Field Service Project Manager to join our team. The Field Service Project Manager (FSPM) is responsible for managing large scale projects at a variety of customer locations. This role requires a proactive approach to project management, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. You will work directly with other team members, Supervisors, as well as the Branch Manager to coordinate project activities and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. In this position, you will be responsible for the performance of tasks associated with emergency response, including emergency spill cleanup, hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation (tank and pit cleaning), equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials. The FSPM will oversee project timelines, manage resources, and ensure that all safety protocols are followed. You will also be expected to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns that may arise. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in hazardous waste or environmental services.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to hazardous materials.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in emergency response operations.
  • Familiarity with site-remediation processes.
  • Project management certification (PMP or equivalent).
