About the position

Kiddie Academy is seeking passionate and dedicated Child Care Teachers, Preschool Teachers, and Assistant Teachers for both full-time and part-time roles across various locations in the Greater Seattle area. The ideal candidates will contribute to a nurturing and educational environment, implementing the Life Essentials® and Character Essentials® curriculum while ensuring the highest quality care for children.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support the Life Essentials® and Character Essentials® curriculum in the classroom.
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress.
• Assist in the development of age-appropriate activities and lesson plans.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
• Participate in required training and professional development programs.

Requirements

• Experience in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass required state and company background checks.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds throughout the workday to at least waist high.
• Early childhood coursework, CDA, or AA Degree will be a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Valid Child Development Associate Certification certification.
• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
