About the position

As an Associate Banker in Branch Banking, you will play a crucial role in representing our brand and culture while delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your primary focus will be on engaging clients as they enter the branch, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. You will manage lobby traffic, check clients into the waiting queue, and schedule or cancel client meetings as necessary. Your responsibilities will also include assisting clients with everyday transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and reordering debit cards. You will ensure that all transactions are conducted accurately and efficiently while adhering to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. In addition to handling transactions, you will educate clients on utilizing technology self-service options, including the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs, empowering them to complete their banking needs whenever and wherever they choose. You will assist clients and the branch team with new account openings when needed and perform branch operations, which may involve managing cash devices such as the cash vault and ATMs, all while following bank policies and procedures. Responsibilities

  • Engages clients as they enter the branch by welcoming them and making them feel appreciated, including managing lobby traffic, checking clients into the waiting queue and scheduling/canceling client meetings
  • Helps clients with everyday transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, reordering a debit card, setting up a direct deposit or helping update their address accurately and efficiently, while complying with all policies, procedures, and regulatory and banking requirements
  • Educates clients on the usage of technology self-service options such as leveraging the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to complete their banking needs whenever, wherever, and however they want
  • Assists clients and the branch team by helping with new account openings when needed
  • Performs branch operations which may include managing cash devices such as the cash vault, ATM, or others while adhering to all bank policies and procedures

Requirements

  • 6+ months of customer service experience
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Professional, interpersonal, thorough, detailed oriented, and organized with follow-up skills
