About the position

Kiddie Academy is hosting a hiring event for various teaching positions including Preschool Teacher, Toddler Teacher, and Assistant Teacher. The event will provide an opportunity for candidates to learn about the organization, meet management, and apply for full-time and part-time roles across multiple locations in the Greater Seattle area. The ideal candidates will be passionate about early childhood education and possess the necessary qualifications to contribute to the academy's mission of providing high-quality educational childcare.

Responsibilities

• Teach and support children in Infant, Toddler, Twos, Preschool, and Pre-Kindergarten classrooms.
• Implement the Life Essentials® and Character Essentials® curriculum in a fun and engaging manner.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children.
• Participate in company training and professional development programs.

Requirements

• Experience in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass required state and company background checks.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds throughout the workday to at least waist high.
• Early childhood coursework, CDA, or an Associate's degree is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Valid Child Development Associate Certification certification.
• Experience in a childcare setting.
