About the position

As a Scrum Master at TechPoint LLC, you will be responsible for building high-performing Scrum teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading multiple initiatives in an agile environment. Superior communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work across the organization, excellent analytical skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to participate in a team environment are keys to this position. You will lead the Technical team and the Business team in an Agile development process, ensuring that Scrum values and practices are enacted effectively. This includes training team members on agile methodology and best practices, as well as guarding and shielding the team from distractions and interruptions from external interferences. In this role, you will enable close cooperation across all roles and functions, promoting and participating in the continuous improvement of structure, processes, and tooling to enable the teams to deliver more value. You will organize and facilitate standups, release and sprint planning, reviews, demos, and retrospectives. Identifying opportunities for process and tool improvements and driving those from concept to implementation will be a critical part of your responsibilities. You will engineer projects with an eye towards rapid iteration and creative problem-solving, ensuring quality and completeness of the product through unit, integration, and regression capabilities. Additionally, you will respond to client requests and inquiries, identify improvements for processes, standards, and deliverables, escalate issues when required, and provide status updates as warranted. Contributing to the development and execution of training materials will also be part of your duties. You will demonstrate the ability to effectively work on multiple assignments, activities, or projects as required, and on large, complex projects spanning multiple applications. A dedication to exemplary customer service and the ability to effectively communicate with various levels within all departments of the organization will be essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Business process and technical writing experience
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an effective communication style
  • Demonstrated deep experience with software application lifecycle methods, processes, and tools
  • Proven ability to cultivate and maintain client relationships.

Requirements

  • 3+ years working as a Scrum Master
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Preferred
  • Microsoft Project Planner experience preferred
  • Manufacturing experience is preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in business or computer science
