About the position
Deep Cliff Golf Course is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as golf course workers. This position offers a unique opportunity to work outdoors in a beautiful environment surrounded by wildlife and redwoods in Cupertino, California. As a groundskeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the golf course, ensuring it remains in top condition for our guests. Your responsibilities will include mowing greens, raking bunkers, seeding areas, hand watering, and setting up the course for play. We are looking for candidates who take pride in their work and enjoy being outside, contributing to the overall look and playability of the course. While prior golf knowledge is a plus, it is not a requirement. This role is perfect for those looking to get their foot in the door in the golf business, with health benefits available after 90 days, free lunch on weekends, and free golf privileges at our course and potentially others. The primary schedule for this position is from 5 am to 1:30 pm, five days a week, with flexibility to accommodate different schedules as needed.
Responsibilities
- Mowing greens to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Raking bunkers to ensure playability.
- Seeding areas to promote healthy grass growth.
- Hand watering specific areas of the course as needed.
- Setting up the course for daily play.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Driver's License (required).
- 1 year of landscape maintenance experience (preferred).
