About the position
The Qlik Developer position at Cerebra Consulting Inc. is a 6-month contract-to-hire role focused on leveraging SQL and Qlik Compose expertise to support the development and maintenance of a data warehouse (DW) environment. The role involves working closely with various departments to integrate data from core systems, enhancing data collection for critical initiatives such as claims processing and quality reporting. The position requires relocation to Fairfield, CA, and offers a hybrid work model with flexibility for remote work initially.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of SQL Server, Oracle, and SSIS.
- Provide support for all Master Data Management (MDM) aspects involved in the development of the EDW.
- Transition documentation, security, development, and testing of all procedures in the EDW.
- Train new staff on ETL architecture, standards, and documentation.
- Coordinate the production, development, and sandbox environments.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of SQL experience.
- 3+ years of Qlik Compose experience.
- Strong SQL skills at a senior level.
- Experience with Replicate and Attunity is ideal.
- Understanding of Data Warehouse design concepts.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with SSIS is a plus.
- Healthcare industry experience is a nice-to-have.
- Cloud/Azure experience is a nice-to-have.
