About the position

The Java Backend Developer position at RADIANSYS INC. is a full-time role based in O'Fallon, MO, requiring onsite presence from day one. Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end development of backend services.
• Conduct performance code reviews and build test strategies.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Support operational issues and provide solutions.
• Simplify the usage of new tools by creating common libraries and interfaces.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java (J2EE).
• Proficient in web services (microservices) and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Oracle DB and ability to write complex SQL queries.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies, preferably AWS or Azure.
• Expertise in modern software design principles such as SOLID, DRY, and Single Responsibility.
• Familiarity with technology stack including PCF, NiFi, NATS, Kafka, Zookeeper, Splunk, Redis, and Cassandra.
