About the position

The Recruiter Manager position in the Trucking/Logistics Industry is designed for a dynamic leader with extensive experience in truck recruiting. This role involves leading a team of recruiters to meet hiring goals, managing recruitment pipelines, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be responsible for setting and achieving recruitment KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of recruiters, ensuring individual and team hiring goals are met.
  • Set clear KPIs, track progress, and implement action plans to meet or exceed hiring targets.
  • Collaborate with department managers to assess hiring needs and prioritize open positions.
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to meet immediate and future hiring demands.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Proactively manage pipelines to ensure recruiters are prepared for upcoming hiring demands.
  • Leverage Tenstreet and other industry-specific tools to manage and streamline the recruitment process.
  • Track candidate progress and manage data for reporting and performance metrics.
  • Assign recruiters to specific roles and ensure vacancies are filled promptly and efficiently.
  • Oversee and facilitate the scheduling of interviews and start dates for new hires.
  • Trigger and manage onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Provide coaching, support, and feedback to the recruitment team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in truck recruiting within the logistics industry.
  • Proven experience using Tenstreet and other relevant recruiting software.
  • 2+ years in a leadership or management role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding recruitment KPIs.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in pipeline management, recruitment metrics, and performance tracking.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in high-volume recruiting environments.
  • Familiarity with onboarding processes and scheduling in the trucking/logistics industry.
