About the position

We are seeking a Mid-Level Interior Designer to join our San Francisco team at Hicks Cazenave Interior Design. This role involves working on a variety of custom residential projects, focusing on delivering high-quality designs with attention to detail and strong client relations. The ideal candidate will have experience in interior design and be proficient in AutoCAD, with the ability to manage projects efficiently in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute custom residential projects with attention to detail.
• Attend client and construction vendor meetings.
• Head or assist with on-site installations.
• Order and expedite custom designed furniture.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and skilled workrooms.
• Manage time effectively and handle time billing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field (preferred).
• 2 years of experience in interior design (preferred).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Experience with customer relationship management and QuickBooks.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Studio (Design Manager/QuickBooks) and 3D rendering programs.
• Familiarity with Asana for project management.
