About the position

The Mini Storage Property Manager will oversee the operations of a self-storage facility, ensuring excellent customer service and effective management of the property. This role requires living on-site in a provided residence and involves a variety of responsibilities including leasing, maintenance, and customer interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Provide management of a self-storage facility with U-Haul truck/trailer rentals available.
  • Demonstrate the ability to lease, collect payments, and maintain the property.
  • Engage in face-to-face and telephone sales.
  • Maintain customer leases/rentals and update file information using web-based software.
  • Monitor units and keep the facility in a rent-ready state.
  • Perform light maintenance tasks such as cleaning the office, sweeping out vacant units/trucks, and picking up trash around the property.
  • Handle payment collections and daily bank deposits.
  • Check out/in all U-Haul rentals as needed.
  • Hitch all rented trailers to customer vehicles per U-Haul policy.
  • Initiate marketing ideas and network with local businesses.

Requirements

  • 3 years of customer service experience
  • Mid-level experience in property management or related field
