About the position
Northwest Healthcare is the largest hospital system in Southern Arizona and is seeking a BE/BC Neurologist to work at Northwest Medical Center in beautiful Tucson, AZ. This is a hospital-employed opportunity that allows you to join a large and very busy multispecialty group. The ideal candidate must be board-certified or board-eligible in the United States. The position is set in an outpatient clinic setting, with no inpatient responsibilities, providing a high patient volume opportunity. This full-time employment position comes with physician outreach and marketing support to help establish your practice. New graduates are welcome to apply, although experience is preferred. Office space is available adjacent to the hospital, and physicians will start with one Medical Assistant, with additional support provided as patient volume grows. Please note that there is no visa sponsorship support available at this location.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient care to patients as a Neurologist.
- Manage a high volume of patients in a busy clinic setting.
- Collaborate with a large multispecialty group of physicians.
- Participate in physician outreach and marketing efforts to establish and grow your practice.
- Supervise and work alongside a Medical Assistant and additional support staff as needed.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology in the United States.
- Ability to work in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with physician outreach and marketing strategies.
