Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors regularly.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
• Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes in dining areas after meals.
• Organize and store clean dishes and utensils in their designated places.
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Participate in cleaning tasks during off-peak hours to maintain a tidy work environment.

Requirements

• Experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently and thoroughly.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to assist with various kitchen duties beyond dishwashing as needed, including food preparation and banquet support.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks.
