About the position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing repairs and general maintenance work on facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment. This includes tasks related to electrical, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, glazing, and painting. The role requires regular property inspections and managing repairs with vendors to ensure the proper care of the property.

Responsibilities

  • Physically examine the property on a regular basis.
  • Manage repairs and maintenance with vendors, ensuring proper care of the property.
  • Maintain pools, landscaping, utilities, roads, signage, clubhouse, and other community infrastructure elements.
  • Maintain and improve the quality of the community and keep public areas clean and safe.
  • Supervise outside contractors working on the property.
  • Adhere to all maintenance and purchasing directives including property inspections, maintenance assignments, utility system readings, landscaping, safety, and special maintenance items.
  • Prepare inventory homes for sale or rent.
  • Troubleshoot any needs for the property.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency.
  • Minimum of two (2) years general experience in building trades, plumbing, repair, and maintenance.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
  • Ability to use email.
  • Valid driver's license with 3 years of good driving history.
