In this role, you will play a crucial part in our mission to help people celebrate holidays, each other, and all of life's special moments. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for servicing the American Greetings Department in various retail locations, ensuring that our product displays are well-maintained and visually appealing. The starting pay for this position is $12.20 per hour, with opportunities for pay increases after 6 months and 1 year of employment, reaching up to $13.50 per hour. We offer flexible work scheduling to accommodate your availability, with an average of 5 hours per week, which may increase to 15 hours per week during holiday seasons. The ideal candidate for this position will be available during daytime hours, particularly on Monday mornings, to meet store needs and service requirements. You will be working in a fast-paced retail environment, utilizing effective time management skills to complete your tasks efficiently. Building relationships with retail store associates and management is essential, as you will be collaborating with them during business hours. You will also use a company-provided tablet to perform basic job functions, including reviewing weekly service tasks, managing inventory, and entering your time. No prior experience is necessary, as we provide paid training to ensure you are well-prepared for your responsibilities. However, candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess the ability to communicate effectively in English, and be able to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Reliable transportation is required, as most routes involve multiple retail locations, and access to the internet is necessary for receiving job updates and information. Flexibility in scheduling is important, as occasional weekend work and availability around major holidays will be required. Responsibilities
