About the position

The Account Manager at McKinstry will be responsible for leading client growth, retention, and renewal within the Service Washington division. This role focuses on delivering quality service, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and ensuring that client objectives are met effectively. The Account Manager will coordinate project delivery schedules, collaborate with Business Development for expansion opportunities, and ensure that key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved and communicated.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client growth, retention, and renewal through quality service delivery.
  • Build and maintain personal relationships with key client stakeholders.
  • Coordinate overall product/project delivery schedule and client deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to identify and pursue expansion opportunities for existing clients.
  • Ensure client objectives and issues are addressed effectively and inform management of any problems.
  • Achieve and communicate KPI targets, evolving goals with the client.

Requirements

  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction, management, business administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum three (3) years of customer account management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with complex, major accounts with a proven track record of revenue growth and account retention.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems is a plus.
