About the position

The Electrical Construction Project Engineer will play a crucial role in managing electrical construction projects at McKinstry. This position involves coordinating project documentation, procurement, and communication with various stakeholders, including clients and subcontractors. Responsibilities

• Assist with the management of electrical construction projects, including documentation and procurement.
• Support the Request for Proposal (RFP) and procurement process.
• Track current and future jobs, reviewing contracts, drawings, and specifications.
• Assist in scheduling and development of the scope of work with subcontractors.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting and assist in billing breakdowns.
• Create and respond to requests for information (RFI).
• Develop, process, and track equipment, materials, and informational submittals.
• Process change orders and conduct estimates.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of construction concepts preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, contracts, proposals, and estimates preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite required; working knowledge of Salesforce, ViewPoint, and Accubid preferred.
