About the position

The 2nd Shift Picker and Packer position at Aerotek involves performing various tasks related to picking and packing operations in a warehouse setting. This role requires flexibility as candidates will rotate between picking and packing duties throughout the shift, which runs from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM. The position is fully onsite in Aurora, Illinois, and candidates can start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties in pick/pack/ship operations.
• Rotate between picking and packing tasks throughout the day.
• In the pick area, use a cart with multiple scan codes to select parts from racks and place them on the cart.
• Move completed carts to the next area and wait for the next cart to arrive.
• In the packing area, scan order sheets to print packing slips.
• Pack products, packing slips, and additional items (such as batteries, candy, stickers) into boxes.
• Place packed boxes on a conveyor belt for sealing, labeling, and shipping.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving items.
• Attention to detail for accurate picking and packing operations.
• Flexibility to rotate between different tasks throughout the shift.
