About the position

The Sales Representative position is focused on managing the opener sales team, driving lead generation, and ensuring the team meets or exceeds sales targets. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to motivate the team and maintain a productive sales environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, supervise, and lead a team of agents, providing guidance and support throughout daily operations.
  • Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals, and monitor team performance against KPIs.
  • Conduct regular training, coaching, and development sessions to enhance the team's sales techniques and product knowledge.
  • Ensure adherence to telemarketing scripts, compliance guidelines, and sales processes.
  • Drive overall team performance by monitoring individual sales calls, providing real-time feedback, and offering corrective action when necessary.
  • Actively work to improve conversion rates, call quality, and lead generation effectiveness.
  • Implement sales strategies and campaigns to meet or exceed team quotas.
  • Analyze call data and sales reports to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement.
  • Foster a high-energy, positive environment to maintain morale and keep the team motivated.
  • Hold daily or weekly meetings to review team performance, address challenges, and celebrate successes.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and offer actionable feedback to team members for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure agents provide a high level of customer service, building rapport with prospects, and effectively addressing concerns.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a focus on long-term customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction with the sales process.
  • Ensure that the sales floor operates efficiently, including managing call schedules, workflow, and lead distribution.
  • Collaborate with the sales leadership team to develop new strategies for lead generation, customer acquisition, and customer retention.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor offerings, and company products/services to inform sales strategies.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in sales or telemarketing management or a similar leadership role in a call center.
  • Proven track record in leading a high-performing telemarketing team and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills with the ability to inspire and coach a team.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to monitor performance and optimize results.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with a strong focus on hitting targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Proficient in telemarketing software, CRM systems, and call center technology.
