About the position

StayArbor is seeking a versatile and experienced Skilled Tradesman/Handyman to manage a variety of tasks across our portfolio of short-term rental properties. This role involves both basic repairs and complex renovation projects, ensuring that properties are maintained to a high standard. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess a strong work ethic, and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Completing full remodel projects (as skills permit)
• Performing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work
• Conducting rough and finished carpentry
• Tiling bathrooms and kitchen backsplashes
• Installing finished plumbing and electrical fixtures
• Carrying out basic repair and maintenance tasks such as drywall patching, painting, and battery and light bulb replacement
• Completing property walkthroughs to identify repair and maintenance concerns
• Documenting identified issues with photos and written descriptions
• Reporting issues to the Operations Management team
• Diagnosing and repairing appliances
• Interacting directly with guests as needed

Requirements

• Reliable transportation, truck or large SUV preferred to haul all required tools and materials
• A smartphone and the ability to download and use applications
• Experience in the trades, handyman work, remodeling, property management, or home improvement
• Strong physical condition and the ability to lift 50lbs
• A positive attitude and a growth mindset
