About the position

The HL Operations Analyst at Umpqua Bank is responsible for coordinating audits, managing vendor relationships, and supporting regulatory change processing within the loan operations. This role requires strong writing and analytical skills, as well as proficiency in using external systems like Black Knight/ICE MSP. The analyst will work closely with various business units to identify opportunities for process improvements and ensure compliance with banking regulations. The position emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders to document and refine business requirements, as well as providing training and support for new workflows and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate audits and vendor relationships.
  • Support business unit investor and regulatory change processing.
  • Utilize Black Knight/ICE MSP for operational tasks.
  • Interact with business units to understand loan data and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support audit requests as needed.
  • Document and communicate business unit requirements and system improvements.
  • Assist in integration and user acceptance testing of new workflows and systems.
  • Develop training materials and support post-implementation activities.
  • Serve as a liaison between business units and the Technology Advancement Group.
  • Ensure compliance with bank regulations and policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, project management, business systems, or equivalent required.
  • 4-7 years of relevant business analyst, project management, or operations experience required.
  • Advanced business operations, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced data analysis skills and project management experience.
  • Knowledge of banking policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and vendor relationships.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Experience consulting with high-level managers and executives.
