The Hmong Interpreter position is a fully remote role focused on providing interpretation services, primarily in healthcare and medical contexts. The role requires a high level of English proficiency and the ability to communicate effectively in both Hmong and English. The position offers flexible scheduling and immediate availability for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Answer calls professionally, adhering to the Interpreters code of conduct.
- Utilize specific vocabulary relevant to the healthcare and medical industry.
- Participate in internal professional training.
- Communicate and report to your team leader.
Requirements
- 90% English proficiency
- Proficiency in Hmong
- Steady wired internet connection
- USB Wired headset
- Windows 10 or MacOS
- 1+ years of interpreting experience (Desirable)
- High emotional intelligence and tolerance of diverse cultures
- Strong communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
