About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Manager to oversee our tax compliance and planning processes. This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while leading a talented team to ensure tax efficiency and compliance, particularly for high-net-worth individuals in the real estate and construction sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for high-net-worth clients
• Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients in the real estate and construction industries
• Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals
• Stay up-to-date with tax regulations and ensure compliance
• Develop and implement tax strategies that minimize tax liabilities for clients
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities as necessary
• Assist in researching complex tax issues and providing solutions

Requirements

• CPA certification is required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management
• Strong background in high-net-worth individual taxation
• Experience with tax compliance in real estate and construction sectors
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively
