About the position

Goodwin and Company is seeking a Community Event Planner (Lifestyle Coordinator) to plan and coordinate social events, implement various activities and programs, and connect residents through events and communications. The role involves overseeing all Association events, managing budgets, and maintaining financial records, while also fostering community involvement and partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all Association events, including scheduling, budgeting, and preparations.
  • Work in conjunction with the Community Manager.
  • Maintain annual financial records related to all events and follow the annual budget.
  • Prepare income and expenses for individual events.
  • Guide the Board of Directors by providing professional administrative assistance.
  • Solicit bids for special projects and request work orders for emergency services and/or repairs.
  • Attend all events funded and supported by the Association.
  • Coordinate e-blasts and maintain good communication skills.
  • Maintain complete and current files for all events.
  • Build and maintain good rapport with Board of Directors, Homeowners, Residents, and Business Partners; respond promptly to all requests.
  • Promote community involvement and partnership opportunities.

Requirements

  • 1 year of professional event/activity planning experience.
  • Proficiency in Constant Contact and Canva.
  • Strong communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in lifestyle coordination and high-level event planning.
  • Portfolio or presentation of past events.
