About the position

The Community Association Manager is responsible for the effective management of a portfolio of communities, ensuring excellent customer service and communication with homeowners and board members. This role involves overseeing various operational aspects, including budget management, vendor coordination, and compliance with governing documents.

Responsibilities

  • Communicating effectively with homeowners and board members to ensure that pertinent items are being addressed.
  • Preparing and distributing board packets, including management reports, meeting agendas, and minutes.
  • Coordinating vendor bids, presenting bids to the board, and overseeing the completion of contracted work.
  • Overseeing budget expenditures, reserve studies, and general budget management.
  • Collecting and maintaining all documents for the communities, including governing documents and homeowner registries.
  • Performing inspections of the properties to ensure completion of work from vendors and compliance with governing documents.
  • Sending violation letters for homeowners out of compliance and following the enforcement procedure of the community.
  • Coordinating effectively with assistant managers, accounting, and other members of the management team.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize tasks with urgency.
  • Experience in property management, with a desire to learn and grow in the industry.
  • Ability to drive to properties and perform inspections.
