About the position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at Cross Creek Village HOA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and improvements, while collaborating with other team members to maintain a safe and functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform repairs on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems.
• Fabricate parts as necessary to ensure equipment functionality.
• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff.
• Use all applicable maintenance tools for repairing, testing and diagnostics.
• Execute painting and repair tasks as needed to maintain facility aesthetics.
• Collaborate with team members on larger projects and repairs.

Requirements

• Minimum two years of large property maintenance experience.
• Knowledge in building repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry and other general work.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluent in English; bilingual is an asset.
• Willingness to learn, improve and adapt.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Nice-to-haves

• Ability to weld is a plus for fabrication tasks.
• Experience in residential painting is beneficial but not mandatory.
