About the position

The HOA Portfolio Manager at HOAMCO is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of communities in the Phoenix Metro area. This role involves interacting with homeowners, vendors, Board Members, and internal staff to ensure effective management and communication. The manager will handle financial aspects, conduct property inspections, and stay updated on industry practices and laws.

Responsibilities

  • Manage community according to governing documents, management agreements, and contracts.
  • Proactive and clear communication with Board of Directors, vendors, and internal team.
  • Prepare budgets and manage financials, ensuring timely payments and accurate monthly reports.
  • Attend and conduct meetings in person or virtually.
  • Perform regular property visits for inspections, meetings, and project oversight.
  • Complete administrative duties as needed.
  • Stay current with best industry practices and applicable laws, educating boards accordingly.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in Portfolio Community Management.
  • Strong customer service skills to build quality relationships with Board and Homeowners.
  • Financial acumen and competency in preparing budgets.
