About the position

The HOA Portfolio Manager at HOAMCO is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of communities in the Phoenix Metro area. This role involves interacting with homeowners, vendors, Board Members, and internal staff to ensure effective management and communication. The position requires a proactive approach to community management, financial oversight, and adherence to governing documents and contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage community according to governing docs, management agreement and contracts.
  • Proactive, clear communication with Board of Directors, vendors, and internal team.
  • Prepare budgets and manage financials, including timely payments and monthly financial reports.
  • Follow internal processes for timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Attend and conduct meetings in person or virtually.
  • Conduct regular property visits for inspections, meetings, and project oversight.
  • Perform administrative duties as needed.
  • Stay current with best industry practices and applicable laws, educating boards accordingly.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of Portfolio Community Management experience.
  • Professional and dependable demeanor.
  • Excellent customer service skills to build quality relationships with Board and Homeowners.
