About the position

The HOA Portfolio Manager at Invest West Management is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of homeowner associations (HOAs) in collaboration with the HOA board of directors. This role involves managing various aspects of community management, including budgeting, maintenance, and compliance with community rules, while ensuring a high level of service and communication with residents and board members.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of homeowner associations in cooperation with the HOA board of directors.
  • Resolve disputes and collect dues as necessary.
  • Assist with onsite maintenance and landscaping based on agreements with the HOA Board of Directors.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and safety protocols.
  • Manage budgeting and financial aspects of the HOA.
  • Procure bids and arrange for maintenance and repairs, both routine and requested.
  • Communicate and work with board members, owners, service providers, and residents.
  • Plan and lead community initiatives; advise board members accordingly.
  • Enforce community rules and regulations and assist with dispute resolution.
  • Attend Board and Community Meetings and conduct property site inspections.
  • Procure insurance coverage and renewals.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as an HOA Portfolio Manager.
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
  • Experience in procuring bids and arranging maintenance and repairs.
  • Excellent communication skills to work with board members, owners, and residents.
  • Ability to plan and lead community initiatives.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local housing laws.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HOA property management systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • CMCA Certification preferred.
  • Experience in community management.
