About the position

The Hogan Developer role at UMB Bank involves collaborating with business partners and analysts to enhance and optimize the Hogan System, which supports core deposits and customer systems. This position is critical for ensuring the performance and reliability of banking applications, particularly in the Deposits Processing Systems modules. The role is hybrid, requiring on-site presence on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for local candidates, while also being open to remote candidates within the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the current state of the Hogan system and identify potential enhancements.
• Implement system improvements and optimizations following secure coding practices.
• Provide support for the Hogan environment and applications to ensure peak performance and avoid business disruptions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in application development on Hogan System, specifically in Deposits Processing Systems modules (DDA, TDA, FSS, etc.).
• At least 3 years of experience in IBM mainframe development and testing tools (TSO/SPF, Compuware/Macro4 or equivalent).
• Experience with real-time payments processing.
