About the position
The Hogan ODS Technician role involves working as a consultant with a banking client to support the development and maintenance of their Online Delivery System (ODS). The position requires extensive experience in programming and system development, focusing on analyzing, designing, and resolving technical issues related to the ODS.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with Banking client personnel to support development on their existing Online Delivery System (ODS).
- Analyze, design, and develop systems based on user specifications.
- Provide technical assistance in solving hardware or software problems.
- Maintain and demonstrate knowledge of technical industry trends relevant to the client.
Requirements
- 20+ years of programming experience in ODS application and Umbrella Knowledge.
- Experience with Hogan Deposits and/or CIS application is a bonus.
- Proficiency in Cobol, CICS, VSAM, and Assembler is required.
- Some exposure to Hogan APIs into Deposits and CIS is necessary.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and communication skills (verbal and written).
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Easytrieve, Zeke (or equivalent job scheduler), Changeman (or equivalent Incident Management), Fileaid or INSYNC, DB2, MQ, SQL, and SoapUI.
