About the position
The Hogan ODS Technician role involves working as a consultant with a banking client to support the development of their existing Online Delivery System (ODS). The position requires extensive experience in programming and system development, focusing on analyzing, designing, and developing systems based on user specifications while providing technical assistance for hardware and software issues.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with Banking client personnel to support the development of the Online Delivery System (ODS).
- Analyze, design, and develop systems based on user specifications.
- Provide technical assistance in solving hardware or software problems.
- Maintain and demonstrate knowledge of technical industry trends relevant to the client.
Requirements
- 20+ years of programming experience in ODS applications and Umbrella Knowledge.
- Proficiency in Cobol, CICS, VSAM, and Assembler.
- Exposure to Hogan APIs into Deposits and CIS applications.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and communication skills (verbal and written).
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Hogan Deposits and/or CIS applications.
- Familiarity with Easytrieve, Zeke (or equivalent job scheduler), Changeman (or equivalent Incident Management), Fileaid or INSYNC, DB2, MQ, SQL, SoapUI.
