About the position
As a Holiday Helper at Carter's, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers, particularly new parents and families, providing them with assistance and information about the brand's products. This role emphasizes customer engagement, problem-solving, and maintaining a welcoming store environment during the busy holiday season.
Responsibilities
- Confidently and proactively resolve issues for customers in a busy retail environment.
- Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
- Meet customer needs by utilizing omnichannel resources to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Execute and expedite point of sale/register transactions.
- Complete floor replenishment and shipment as needed.
- Articulate current promotional events and the brand loyalty program to customers.
- Minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
Requirements
- Demonstrated customer service/engagement skills.
- Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; climb up and down a ladder.
