About the position
The Retail Store Associate at Duluth Trading Company is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by embodying the company's 'Go for WOW!' standard. This role focuses on creating memorable experiences for customers through personalized service, product knowledge, and effective communication. The associate will work primarily during weekends and evenings, ensuring the sales floor is ready for customers and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Develop familiarity with the Duluth brand and product knowledge to provide friendly service.
- Understand the importance of personalized service in customer interactions.
- Effectively communicate sales and promotions to customers.
- Capture customer emails as part of sales and service.
- Proactively resolve customer concerns and provide positive resolutions.
- Answer telephone inquiries courteously and provide store information.
- Assist in receiving, processing, and replenishing merchandise.
- Maintain merchandising, presentation, and display standards.
- Ensure the sales floor is customer-ready and clean.
- Accurately process all register transactions.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and practices.
- Perform other duties as directed by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Retail experience preferred but not necessary.
- Customer-centric attitude.
