About the position

The Holiday Temporary Sales Associate at TOMMY HILFIGER is responsible for promoting and selling merchandise while adhering to the company's customer service standards. This role involves various operational tasks as assigned by store management, ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers and maintaining store appearance and inventory levels.

Responsibilities

  • Provide TH Customer Service to company standards.
  • Maintain appropriate merchandise levels on the sales floor.
  • Ensure the store is visually appealing and well-maintained.
  • Minimize shortages through effective loss prevention procedures.
  • Be aware of store sales plans and individual contributions to business results.
  • Follow all operational policies and procedures.
  • Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings as required.
  • Generate maximum sales potential according to TH Customer Service standards.
  • Build a repeat customer base through excellent service.
  • Maintain knowledge of products, promotions, and special events for effective selling.
  • Foster a positive store experience for customers and staff.
  • Maintain zone coverage and prioritize customer service over assigned tasks.
  • Represent the TH image through personal and professional appearance.
  • Demonstrate a professional image and conduct.
  • Be flexible to work rotating hours as assigned by management.
  • Communicate concerns to management and maintain respect among peers and supervisors.
  • Support all company and management decisions.
  • Adapt to changing schedules and undertake night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures regarding loss prevention and report unusual activities to management.
  • Execute opening and closing checklist duties as directed by store management.
  • Lift a minimum of 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ensure consistent and accurate replenishment of products on the sales floor.
  • Comply with visual presentation standards and execute markdowns as needed.
  • Maintain store organization and cleanliness.

Requirements
