About the position

The Holiday Temporary Sales Associate at Tommy Hilfiger is responsible for promoting and selling merchandise while adhering to the company's customer service standards. This role involves various operational tasks as assigned by store management, ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers and maintaining store appearance and inventory levels.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service in line with Tommy Hilfiger standards.
  • Maintain appropriate merchandise levels on the sales floor.
  • Ensure the store is visually appealing and well-maintained.
  • Implement loss prevention procedures to minimize shortages.
  • Be aware of store sales plans and individual contributions to business results.
  • Follow all operational policies and procedures.
  • Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.
  • Participate in staff meetings and Take 5 meetings as required.
  • Generate maximum sales potential by adhering to customer service standards.
  • Build a repeat customer base through exceptional service.
  • Stay informed about products, promotions, and special events to enhance selling effectiveness.
  • Foster a positive store experience for customers and staff.
  • Maintain zone coverage and prioritize customer interactions over tasks.
  • Represent the Tommy Hilfiger image through professional appearance and conduct.
  • Adapt to flexible working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Observe the sales floor and stockroom for loss prevention and report unusual activities.
  • Execute opening and closing checklist duties as directed by management.
  • Lift a minimum of 40 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ensure accurate replenishment of products on the sales floor.
  • Comply with visual presentation standards and execute markdowns as needed.
  • Maintain store organization and cleanliness.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships with customers.
